Duco Capital welcomes inaugural class of interns!

The Duco team is excited to announce our first class of interns! We've been extremely impressed with Erik and Gavin who we initially met at the Minnesota ACG Case Competition. We appreciate the extra hands and look forward to supporting their development over the summer!

Erik Norberg:

Erik is a freshman at the University of Minnesota studying Finance. He stays involved with the Carlson and broader University of Minnesota community with his involvements in the University Honors Program, serving as the Director of Communication and Board member for the Investment Banking Club, and as an analyst for Atland Ventures.

Erik brings previous internship experience from the Rising Tide Foundation, a philanthropic foundation based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, where he worked as a summer intern analyzing grants and operations data. Additionally, Erik interned with Alpha Leonis Partners, an investment advisory boutique based out of Zurich, Switzerland, active in private and capital markets. He primarily worked with the Private Equity team, which focuses on tech-enabled business models in Europe and the U.S.

Erik looks forward to his continued work with the Duco team and exposure to niche manufacturing companies in the lower middle market.

Gavin Zwiefwlhofer:

Gavin is a student at the University of Minnesota pursuing degrees in both Finance and Accounting, with minors in Spanish and Strategic Management.  He stays involved with the Carlon undergraduate community through his involvement in student groups like Scholars of Finance, where he serves as Executive Vice President and as a member of the Carlson Investment Banking Club.  

Gavin brings previous internship experience from Avivo, a local non-profit, where he worked as an accounting intern and helped the non-profit monitor the distribution of millions of dollars to fund recovery programs and career advancement initiatives.  Gavin is super excited to join the Duco team and can’t wait to expand his knowledge of private equity while working on incoming deals.
